Akkerman #13 Simplisties Violet is a very pretty, vivid, medium purple. It leans ever so slightly red, which is how I like my purples. There is some shading – not a ton, but enough to give the letters character. There’s also a slight gold sheen. The flow is lovely and wet in all pens.
